How can I motivate my child to use the toilet?

Target Practice

A fun way to teach boys to urinate in the toilet is to place a few Cheerios in the toilet, and challenge him to sink them. Most boys find this to be so much fun that they are eager to go each time.

This idea is Great! I started potty training my son at 18 months. I first tried the cheerio tip to see how well it would work and my son had a blast. It is fun and challenging for him and he is always eagar to go to the bathroom
